Shoes!
Congrats to Melbourne University for making it to #19 in The Times Higher World University Rankings, which makes it the top ranking in Australia. Though I must confess that prestige or reputation were less important to me than location, when I chose to come here. To illustrate:
I got new shoes yesterday (o happy, happy day), thanks to the Nine West sale. Having realised from the website that the sale had started, I went down to the nearest outlet, which is on Lygon less than 5 minutes from here. I love living here, with the university on one side, and shopping and food on the other!
Of course, I should really have been working on my assignment, but I feel positively rejuvenated by my purchases. The last time I bought shoes was back in July, when I got 2 pairs of fab boots from Wittner, who sadly, make much better boots than they do sandals. I have to agree with a friend who thinks that Aussie shoe designs tend to be rather ugly.
